Yes, I too do not wish to use all the crap that HP would love to load onto my PC, but the HP scan software does have a useful de-interlacing facility that the basic WIA doesn't. Firstly, I'm using XP (see 'vital's in my signature for more). Where does the 'missing' scanner software come from? I've run the PP install repair several times. I've removed and re-installed the HP All-in-one software several times now. I'd prefer to use the more refined one I'm familiar with. If I select the former I get the above messages, if I select the second I get a basic, cut-down version of a HP scanner GUI which does actually work. Meanwhile, PP can actually see two scanner sources - HP Photosmart C3100 Twain 1.0 (32-32) and WIA - HP Photsmart C3100 1.0 (32-32). But the HP dialogue for scanning is visible right behind the message! When I close the message down I get another message, " The Twain driver returned an unknown error code". When I command PP to acquire an image I get a dialogue called, " $MfgAbbrevName$ scanning", which reads, " Sorry couldn't find required user interface files (Please reinstall your scanning software)". I cannot scan as I used to using Corel Photopaint and my HP C3100 All-in-one. This filter is available in CorelDRAW, Corel PHOTO-PAINT, and Corel DESIGNER.Ĭorel PHOTO-PAINT files may be black-and-white, grayscale, paletted, CMYK color (32-bit), RGB color (24-bit), or Lab.Apologies if this is posted in the wrong section but I'm trying to migrate to a new machine and I'm hitting several problems. You can export to an image with transparent background. You can export CorelDRAW layers as objects in the CPT file format. In the Convert to bitmap dialog box, adjust the width, height, resolution, color mode, or any of the other settings. Type a filename in the File name list box. Locate the folder in which you want to save the file.Ĭhoose CPT - Corel PHOTO-PAINT image from the Save as type list box. CorelDRAW can import and export files in Corel PHOTO-PAINT format, including files that contain color and grayscale information. When you save a graphic to the Corel PHOTO-PAINT format, masks, floating objects, and lenses are saved with the image. Files saved to the Corel PHOTO-PAINT (CPT) file format are bitmaps that represent shapes as pixels arranged to form an image.
